Laminated Louvers

We manufacture the widest shutter panels in the industry by using a laminated louver on individual panels over 34" wide and up to 44" wide. The laminated louver allows us to generate a long and straight louver, which creates wider panels for viewing pleasure, while not losing tight louver closure.

Engineered Wood

Our pre-primed paint grade components are made from an engineered wood. This process includes both finger-jointing and lamination. This creates a much straighter shutter material than can be produced with conventional solid materials. This ensures that our shutters are made to be straight and true with no warpage. It also ensures that all natural wood defects, such as knot holes and twists have been removed from the wood.

Mouldings & Framing

As it should be with any custom product, we offer the largest variety of hanging strips on the market today. From a traditional single-beaded hanging strip to a bullnose or colonial look, we provide you with the choices to truly customize each shutter application. Additionally, we can customize any framing piece to meet your installation needs.

Specialty Shapes

All specialty shapes are manufactured by our main Supplier, on site at their factory. No shape is too difficult to fabricate, which enhances the option of selecting shutters for today’s advanced architectural designs.

French Door Applications

French Doors require a unique and custom treatment, making shutters the ideal application choice. With shutters, you can cover the entire glass area and create a cut-out in the actual shutter panel for the French Door handle. A French Door with a shutter application creates absolute privacy and light control. Additionally, it does not require the removal or replacement of the door handle.

Bi-Fold and Bi-Pass Applications

Shutters can also be installed over sliding glass doors, in either a Bi-Fold or Bi-Pass application. A Bi-Fold has the panels attached to a track and an even number of panels accordion in one or both directions. With a Bi-Pass unit, you usually have two or three units attached to a track and one unit slides over the other units. Bi-Pass applications can also be installed so all panels slide beyond the opening and cover the adjoining wall area.

In the tradition of customization, we are pleased to also offer special quotations on shutters built in a variety of popular timber choices. The special timber options include, but are not limited to, Maple, Red Oak, Mahogany Cherry and Walnut.
