Window Shutter Design by ShutterCo

Because your home is unique, so should your

Window Shutters

. Through our various design options, we give you the ability to tailor your Window Shutters to your individual style and taste.

Louvre Sizes
Window Shutters
Our most popular louver sizes are 2.5” & 3.5”, and these sizes suit most window shutters well. However, we also offer a narrow 1.8”, and a wide 4.5” louvre which work well on particularly small and large windows respectively.

Frame Types
Window Shutters
Your window shutters deserve an elegant frame. Whatever your taste, whatever you window style, we have a frame type to suit you. We stock a wide range of frames from the understated to the highly decorative. Our L-shaped frames allow your window shutters to be set back into your reveal which gives the advantage of keeping your window board in front of your shutters. We also stock a range of Z-shaped frames from the clean-cut 34mm, right up to the lavish 78mm.

Colour Options
Window Shutters
Our window shutters come in three standard colours; white, off-white & cream. However you don’t need to be constrained to these colours. We can match virtually any colour you want. Want your window shutters to match your wallpaper? No Problem. Simply tell us the name of the colour or give us a sample and we can match it. We regularly match shades from suppliers such as Farrow & Ball, Colourtrend and Crown, to name but a few.

Tier on Tier Shutters
Window Shutters
Tier on Tier style Shutters are great for tall windows. Tier on Tier Shutters are simply; Shutters on top of Shutters. Tier on Tier offers many of the advantages of traditional Venetian Window Blinds, by allowing the bottom half to be fully opened, while the top half remains closed. An advantage of Tier on Tier Shutters over Venetian Window Blinds is that the top shutters can be open allowing light and air to enter, while the bottom shutters remain closed protecting your privacy.

Shaped Shutters
Window Shutters
Because architecture is not confined to straight lines and right angles; neither are our Window Shutters. Through our special shaped shutters range, your Shutters can be as adaptable and versatile as traditional window blinds. We offer arches, rakes and many other specialty shapes. All shapes are manufactured by our main Supplier, on site at their factory. No shape is too difficult to fabricate, which enhances the option of selecting shutters for today’s advanced architectural designs. Please note that because of the nature of unique shapes, production and delivery times will be longer than regular panels.

Standard or Hidden Tilt-Rod
Window Shutters
The classic window shutter features a vertical bar which runs down the centre of the panel to adjust the louvres’. Some people prefer a hidden tilt rod which runs down the side of the louvres at the back of the panel. Whatever your preference; standard or hidden, we can give you your window shutters as you want them.

Divider Rails
Window Shutters
Fancy the ‘Tier on Tier’ look, but don’t want the extra shutters? No Problem. Simply adding a divider rail to your shutters is a great option. This gives you the advantage of being able to alter the exposures both top and bottom, without the extra panels.

Café Style
Window Shutters
Inspired by Café Style Curtains which stem from Austrian restaurants of the 19th Century; Café Style Shutters can create a traditionally continental feel in a room. Particularly popular in Kitchens; Café Style Shutters can be used in conjunction with simple roller window blinds to provide full privacy if required.

French Doors & Room Dividers
Want a great Covering for your French Door, but don’t want to use window blinds? Shutters are the ideal application choice. With shutters, you can cover the entire glass area and create a cut-out in the actual shutter panel for the French Door handle. A French Door with a shutter application creates absolute privacy and light control. Additionally, it does not require the removal or replacement of the door handle. As well as French doors, Shutters work great in archways between rooms.

Bi-Fold
Bi-fold Window Shutters contain shutter panels that are hinged together and therefore fold against each other concertina style. The Shutters can be free hanging or used with a track, which helps to guide and support the panels. Bi-fold panels can be configured to where panels open all to one side or to where they open to both sides of the door.

Bi-Pass
Bi-pass window shutters are a great option for where space is at a premium. To access the door, the plantation shutters are slid on an overhead track behind each other. Using this system the shutters never protrude into the room. This configuration is only available with a double or triple (or more) overhead track. An extended overhead track is also available that allows the plantation shutters to be slid completely past the door for full view.

Wood Stains
If you prefer the charm of a stained window shutter to the classic painted version, we supply shutters in a range of 5 wood finishes.
