Primer
Our painted Wooden Shutters are assembled from pre-primed components. This allows us to achieve a superior finish. The primer consists of four applications of a calcium carbonate undercoat that is applied in a heavy, flow-coat process. This extremely thick primer base on the wood allows the finishing process to be faster. When the final topcoat of paint is applied, the thick primer base produces a smooth glossy finish.


Paint
We exclusively use paint from the Sayerlack Range on our Wooden Shutters. With over 50 years experience in the wood coating industry, Sayerlack are the brand professionals we turn to for the highest quality in wood finishes.

ShutterCo Colours
Our standard colours are white, off-white and cream. We find that these 3 neutral colors are the most sought after and popular choice for our wooded shutters. However, our range doesn’t stop there. We can match any colour paint from any manufacturer you specify. We regularly match shades from suppliers such as Farrow & Ball, Zoffany and Dulux, to name but a few.


Quality Control
We strive for perfection with every wooden shutter we make, so you can have the peace of mind that your shutters will have a flawless finish. Every shutter we make is vigorously inspected for imperfections and only after this are they allowed to leave the factory floor.
